We are looking to recruit a Business Travel Consultant in our Stockport office to provide a comprehensive travel service to our customers.

Expotel Hotel Reservations, the UK's leading independent hotel reservations and conference & events management agency are currently looking to recruit:

Business Travel Consultant

Based in our Stockport office, the role will involve:

* Liaise with clients, advise and act accordingly on all travel related queries and reservations, in accordance with company standards via any communication method including on-line
* Liaise with suppliers on client’s, checking availability, negotiating suitable rates and advising of special requirements
* Ensure correct and timely issuing of tickets to comply with IATA regulations
* Ensure all changed or cancelled travel arrangements are re-issued, cancelled and refunded as per company standard
* Provide advice on passport, visa, health and security requirements
* Ensure accuracy prior to documentation, ticketing, accounting and include MI entries for savings reports if applicable
* Advise any restrictions applicable to the reservation made
* Provide the Customer Care Department is provided with written and verbal feedback regarding any service which the client may be pleased or dissatisfied
* Respond to client concerns and enquiries in a prompt and courteous manner to ensure client satisfaction
* Process any administration tasks as instructed
* To work to required performance levels as detailed within performance management programme and KPI’s

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

* GDS knowledge (preferably Amadeus)
* Customer focused approach
* Experience within a contact centre environment (desired)
* Strong rapport building skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Good communicator
* Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
* Previous experience of working in rail travel would be an advantage.
