Brief Description
We are currently recruiting for Accommodation Consultants in our Manchester office.

Description/Requirements
The role will involve the following:

Taking inbound calls efficiently and professionally from clients wishing to book hotel accommodation. You will obtain the clients' requests accurately using questioning and listening skills.

Liaising with hotels to find suitable accommodation for the client that is within their budget and in a suitable location.

Ensuring that you are familiar with the reservations computer system.

Participating in hotel familiarisation trips.

Identifying and resolving any problems, where possible.

Working to both individual and team targets.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills / experience:

Essential:

Customer service experience, either face to face or over the telephone.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including a positive, patient, helpful and easy to understand manner.

Flexibility with regards to working hours and tasks undertaken.

Maths and English GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent.

Desirable:

Experience of the hotel, leisure or travel industry.

Call Centre Experience

Good geographical knowledge particularly of the UK.

Experience of dealing with customers over the telephone.

For some positions, overseas hotel booking experience, knowledge of Worldspan / GDS or foreign language skills
